I was born in Hagen and grew up in the Ruhr valley in Westphalia. Since 2019, I have been studying film directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
My works have been presented at festivals such as CPH:DOX, Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, Huesca Festival International de Cine, Max Ophüls Preis, and Beijing Short Film Festival.
My interest in the medium – whether in directing, editing, or writing – lies in transgression, the peculiar, strange and "das Unheimliche".
Dragging my audience into the picture through the seductive power of cinema is what I constantly aim for.
